Made from the lightest, most packable fabrics without sacrificing durability, breathability, or weather protection, GORE-TEX® Paclite® Shells are ideal when pack weight and volume are important. By using a special GORE-TEX® membrane and a protective, oil-hating inside layer, a separate lining is not required. This makes these waterproof, durable shells lighter and smaller than similar products.
Extreme Wet Weather Construction: Garments with this rating are engineered to pass Gore’s most aggressive rain test, simulating extended vertical and horizontal wind-driven storm conditions. It delivers superior protection against extreme and extended wet weather conditions through the use of advanced garment design techniques.
