Pack like a Trekker, Not like a Tourist.

Try to fit as many things INTO your backpack rather than attaching them on the outside. A thousand things dangling off your pack are not only easy to lose, and likely to get entangled or stolen, but they make you look like a backpacker as well. Those old Sneakers swinging away on the bottom of the pack, a no-go for the ‘novice serious trekker apprentice'.
